VMS Hexagon measuring arm

Considered as the quick and easy solution for setting up bending machines since quite some time, Eaton Leonard patented Laservision system (1 000 units sold worldwide), is now called VMS (Vector Measuring system).
This new vector measurement system, that uses laser comb or infrared measurement Vees 3D scanning technology, has become the new Numalliance solution for carrying out the development of your tubular parts, reverse engineering of your parts in 3D as well as the creation of your 3D inspection reports in geometric or surface format.

Starting from your CAD parts in 3D format (STEP or IGES format), VMS allows quick and simple part set-up on your bending machine. A scan of the first produced part corrects bending program automatically to obtain subsequent parts respecting the expected tolerances and therefore allowing a rapid production lunch.
With the spring-back (Elongation and material elasticity) calculation function, VMS can define and create your spring-back database and thus facilitate part set-up.

The VMS meets all the latest metrological standards. This new VMS system is connected to the chain of world standards. Each version of your three-dimensional geometric or surface measurement reports becomes very reliable and traceable.

You want to produce a part, but you don’t know its dimensions in 3D ? A simple scan of your part with the laser sensor will allow you to automatically send the measurements to your tube bender and thus quickly start producing it.

Note : In a more economical version, the VMS can receive the infrared Measurement Vees instead of the laser scanner, for a diameter range of 3mm to 130mm.

As a reminder, all data collected on the famous Eaton Leonard Laservision is compatible with the VMS software ensuring the protection of your data.
