WELDING UNITS FOR 2 AND 3 DIMENSIONAL PARTS |
 | | For 2D machines : Part is already bent then welding unit tilt to bending head to grip part. Then the part is cut. Unit tilt back to butt weld and to clear area to restart production. 2 cylinders bring ends together. Air pressure is regulated in order to control upset . Air pressure on clamping cylinder is also adjustable regarding wire size to eliminate clamping marks. | | | | For 3D machines : Butt welder Ų 3 to Ų 12 mm Unit will be able to slide and be located on place to butt weld 2 dimensional shape. When part has been formed, unit tilt to take first end. The part is cut. Unit moves backwards for clearance in order to start to bend next part. Two cylinders bring the two ends of the wire together to weld. Unit has an air adjuster in the circuit so we can adjust the closing force according to the amount of required upset in the actual weld. This way they can get a very good weld with very little or no upset. There is also an adjuster in the air line for the clamping jaws. By having this you can adjust the circuit to suit the specific requirements. For instance when making small wire parts wire is not clamped too hard so wire surface is not damaged |
