New external growth transaction for Numalliance
NUMALLIANCE group from the Vosges (Eastern France), specialized in the design and manufacture of productivity solutions for shaping wire, tube and metal strip, announces the acquisition of MIB HYDRO, located in Le Chambon-Feugerolles (Saint-Etienne).
MIB HYDRO, recognized player for the design and manufacture of hydraulic presses and production lines, will be able to benefit from the international influence of the group and open to new sectors and markets for export, while wanting to its customers service quality near their facilities. MIB HYDRO round up the product range proposed so far by the group and offers NUMALLIANCE the opportunity to reinforce its presence in the aerospace market and set foot into the composite industry.
"This acquisition, which followed that of EMS in 2015 - Alsatian company specialized in machines and tools to shape the tube ends, are fully in line with our development strategy and our desire to support our customers better” said Joël Etienne, President and Founder of NUMALLIANCE Group.
The NUMALLIANCE group continues its growth and relies on 4 strategic pilars:
- Customer satisfaction, by developing a powerful global network of local people listening to and serving its customers,
- Innovation, to give a competitive advantage to its customers through research and continuous development of the proposed products
- Complementarities, as shown by this acquisition, to become the expert of reference in integrating complementary companies and expertises in proposals
- Profitability, to ensure the sustainability of the company and local employment for future generations.
With this new scope, the group aims for a turnover of € 80 million for 2019. In order to meet the sustained growth of its business, NUMALLIANCE plans to hire 40 people, in all departments, on all sites.
To continue on this dynamic trend and to strengthen its positions, NUMALLIANCE considers further acquisitions, why not, internationally.
NUMALLIANCE designs and manufactures all of its machines and solutions in France (Saint Michel sur Meurthe (88), La Selle en Luitré (35), Saverne (67), Vourles (69) and Bazeilles (08)); and exports 90% of its products, notably through its 9 subsidiaries and technical sales offices (United States, Mexico, China, India, Russia, Slovakia, Germany, Brazil, Romania). The group meets the needs of many sectors, such as the automotive, aeronautics, furniture, agriculture, construction, sanitary, or large retail.

New acquisition for NUMALLIANCE
NUMALLIANCE continues its growth with the acquisition of E.M.S.
NUMALLIANCE, the leading manufacturer of CNC cold forming equipment for wire, tube, flat-stock and spring officially announces the purchase of E.M.S. (Electro Mécanique Saverne). E.M.S. specializes in the design and production of machines for chipless end-forming and rotary and blade cutting machines for tubes.
With this new acquisition NUMALLIANCE extends its offering in the tube processing for various industries. Indeed, the solutions offered by NUMALLIANCE are used for automotive (seating frames, exhaust), point of purchase (supermarket carts, display shelves), furniture, agriculture applications and more. NUMALLIANCE was born with a merger of three companies: MACSOFT, LATOUR and SATIME of whom the oldest boasts over 140 years of experience. The strength of NUMALLIANCE mainly lies in its great expertise in Mechatronic: the hybridation of mechanics and the in-house development of its user-friendly software, which enabled to develop internationally-recognized CNC machines. In October 2013, NUMALLIANCE already successfully integrated SILFAX, a worldwide-renown expert for the tube bending with a strong foothold in the aeronautics industry.
Established in 1949 near Strasbourg in Eastern France, E.M.S. will benefit from the support of NUMALLIANCE’s subsidiaries based in China, Germany, India, Mexico, United-States and more recently Slovakia, and also by its international network of sales agents and sales engineers. With global direct workforce of 225 and sales in excess of €45 Million, NUMALLIANCE generates more than 92% of its sales outside of France and 50% outside of Europe.
“With this acquisition, we keep extending our competences to offer our customers a global and fully-integrated answer to their needs with complementary and compatible products” said Joël ETIENNE, C.E.O. of NUMALLIANCE. “The addition of E.M.S. perfectly fits our company’s dynamic motion and constant evolution. We set our business internal and external growth target high for the year to come”, he added.
